Lovely decor, great recycling facilities! Walking tour recommended by staff was great.
Bathrooms need addressing. Both toilets appeared to be leaking from base. Smell was terrible.

Perfect location for visiting Lisbon. Could not want more, the staff were very friendly and helpful, It was like a home from home, very relaxed and with everything you could need, excellent kitchen if you did not want to eat out. Would deffinately stay again

Its staff are helpful and nice.
Water only runs for about 10 seconds in the shower room each time you press the water tap. You have to press from time to time to have a shower. The street in which Shiado HOstel is located have little pedestrians at night. So need to watch out but in general it is safe in Lisbon.

Really great location, staff is very friendly and always willing to help, all facilities are good, one of the best cost-value hostels I`ve stayed at in Europe.
Only negative thing was the shower that keeps turning-off every 10 seconds or so, so you have to keep pressing the button for water again and again. However, this is very common in many hostels I stayed at and it`s for water-saving sustainable purposes, so fine....

Location is perfect to explore the city, very pleasant atmosphere, good coffee
Shower is a bit disappointing, also you need to carry your luggage uphill if you come by bus from the airport

The room is very clean and nice decorated. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Would be very noisy in case stay at the same time with large group of teenagers. I booked the air conditioned room but have to stay in the room with no air conditioned because the staff gave that room to others guest and said he was forgot.

Overall it's good for a city travel. Close to downtown and easy to wlak around.
